Featured Product - May 2009: 900/930 Series Steel and Aluminum Diffusers
Since the early 1980’s, Shoemaker has manufactured ceiling/sidewall diffusers and grilles in extruded aluminum. The 900 Series comes standard in the Soft White finish, but is also available in Satin Anodized aluminum as well as our Designer Finishes. These products are available in single deflection (901/902) or double deflection (903/904.) We also offer sizes ranging from 4X4 through 48X48. Shoemaker Implements UPC Coding
Beginning March 1, 2009 Shoemaker Manufacturing will be changing our product labeling to use UPC bar codes. This will only impact your company if you currently use our bar codes for receiving and/or inventory purposes. Furthermore, customers using EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) to place orders and receive invoices will have the option to use our existing product numbers or the new UPC codes for these transactions. Thinking Outside the Box: Shoemaker's No Labor Collar
Pioneered and developed in the 1970’s, Shoemaker was one of the first manufacturers to integrate a round collar as a standard feature into its T-bar product line. Before this time the industry standard (and still commonplace for many manufacturers) was a square neck T-bar diffuser with a separate square-to-round box or adaptor. (more…)
