We are pleased to announce the addition of the RS34 Series - Double Deflection Flush Mount Spiral Diffuser to our already comprehensive spiral offering. We now offer both the flush mount and transition box style spiral diffusers in both single and double deflection and ALL are available in a beautiful galvanized finish, with an OBD or scoop extractor options. RS Series
The RS Series is our flush radius spiral diffuser and incorporates a single piece frame on the most common sizes. The curved frame fits flush to the spiral pipe and the curvature of the frame is rolled to ensure a tight fit. The RS also features a high quality neoprene foam gasket which creates an airtight seal. The diffuser has adjustable single (RS52) or double deflection (RS34) airfoil blades and incorporates nylon bushings for easy adjustment. The RS Series is available in an all-galvanized finish (RS52-GALV or RS34-GALV,) which has a single piece galvanized frame, blade and rails, allowing the RS to blend seamlessly with the galvanized spiral pipe.
SD Series
The Shoemaker SD Series is consistent with the industry standard stand-off transition box style and is available in single deflection (SD52) and double deflection (SD34) models. Adding an Opposed Blade Damper (OBD) to the box allows for greater airflow in the spiral duct. The saddle on the box is rolled to the specification of the pipe radius and incorporates a high quality neoprene gasket to ensure a tight seal. Improvements to the SD Series include an all-galvanized finish (SD52-GALV or SD34-GALV,) allowing for an aesthetically pleasing transition from the diffuser to the galvanized spiral pipe.
New Scoop Option Available on both RS and SD Series Products
In some applications there is a call for a scoop extractor to help direct air movement in the spiral pipe through the diffuser. This option is now available on both the RS and SD models. It is a screwdriver operated set screw located on the face of the diffuser.
